DTH drill hammer is a tool widely used in underground mining, geological exploration and tunnel engineering. Among them, high wind pressure and low wind pressure are two important indicators of DTH drill hammer.
High wind pressure refers to the maximum pressure of the shock wave generated by the hammer when it is working, which can be used to judge the crushing ability and penetration depth of the impactor on the geological rock mass. Low wind pressure refers to the maximum pressure of the reaction force generated by the hammer when it is working. It is related to the weight, strength, number of drill rods and relative position of the DTH drill hammer.
High wind pressure and low wind pressure are both important technical parameters of DTH drill hammer, but their functions are different. High wind pressure is mainly used to evaluate the crushing effect of the hammer. When the high wind pressure of the DTH drill hammer is high, the shock wave it generates when it is working can crush the rock mass to a greater extent, so that its penetration depth is greater and the excavation speed is faster. Low wind pressure takes into account the influence of factors such as the weight and number of drill rods of the DTH drill hammer on engineering construction. When the low wind pressure is high, the hammer will generate a large reverse force during the construction process, which may have an adverse effect on underground buildings and infrastructure.
The organic combination of high and low wind pressure of the down-the-hole drill impactor can make the construction more efficient, accurate and safe. During the construction process, the high and low wind pressure parameters of the down-the-hole drill impactor should be reasonably selected according to the actual situation to achieve the best construction effect. At the same time, during use, the equipment should be maintained in time to extend the service life of the equipment and ensure construction safety.
